BBFC Certificate

I would classify my video as a 12A/12 (suitable for 12 years and over) as my target audience for my film is to motivate and persuade young people aged 12-17 to participate in extra-curricular activities.

'Films classified 12A and video works classified 12 contain material that is not generally suitable for children aged under 12. No one younger than 12 may see a 12A film in a cinema unless accompanied by an adult. Adults planning to take a child under 12 to view a 12A film should consider whether the film is suitable for that child. To help them decide, we recommend that they check the BBFC insight for that film in advance. No one younger than 12 may rent or buy a 12 rated video work.'

As I am publishing my film on Youtube, it will be open for anyone of any age to watch so I will need to consider this when making the film. Age restrictions could be put onto my film but this would mean a large number of my target audience would not be able view it.

Dip to black effect

Markers indicate important points in time and help position and arrange clips. I used markers to identify the beat in the music so I could arrange the clips to play on the beat.

Reduce volume of music so it's not so dramatic
