Legal and Ethical Issues
As the poster will be displayed on online platforms and in public, it cannot be offensive to anyone. Therefore it can not contain racist discriminative content. The imagery used also needs to be appropriate for the audience, therefore no nudity or offensive hand gestures can be used.
I need permission from the actor to say that I can publish my poster and let it go online. If they are under 18 then they would need to get their legal guardian to sign the form for them.
I have to make sure that all the information given out is correct and reliable to the activity. This means that I can’t make false claims about anything shown on the poster.
In my poster, I need to make sure that none of the images or logos have been copied from another company or organisation. The poster will be completely my own to ensure the risk of copyright is reduced.
